What Are Cookies

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. On this site, Google’s advertising consent signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — stay permanently disabled, whatever you choose. If we ever add such cookies, we will ask for your consent separately, before using them.
Managing Cookies
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer; withdrawing consent takes effect immediately.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Third-Party Cookies
We use Google Analytics to analyze website traffic. Google may set cookies on your device — we collect: pages visited, time, device and browser type, your IP address (shortened by Google) and a cookie identifier. For more information, visit Google’s privacy policy. We also use Microsoft Clarity, under the same analytics consent: it records how the page is used — clicks, scrolling, movements — as behaviour maps and session recordings. When you withdraw your consent, the Clarity cookies are deleted and the session ends.
Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany, EU) and by Vercel Inc. (USA). Vercel may set technical cookies necessary for content delivery and platform performance.

The country of the connection is determined from the IP address, on our server, using the IP to Country Lite database by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0. The IP address is not stored for this; we keep only the country or region code.
